It’s still a Jeep, But WAY Better
A Build So Good We Call It A Cheat Code
At Offroad Addiction, we have spent the past 7 years developing a Jeep JKU and JLU 4 link front and 4 link rear suspension system that maximizes offroad performance AND on-road drivability. With an Offroad Addiction Cheat Code Chassis you get the best of both worlds.
What is a Cheat Code Chassis?
The Offroad Addiction Cheat Code Chassis is a suspension package that we have developed right here in Oklahoma. It started as a suspension system we built for our personal builds and has now evolved into a product that we offer here at Offroad Addiction. We were looking for a suspension system that performed to our expectations and the market was lacking heavily, so we developed our own. We needed our Jeeps to not unload the front end going up an obstacle, or lift up when under a load. And we needed it to flex without any binding or resistance. We also needed a completely flat belly so we spend less time hung up on the rocks from a pesky bolt or control arm bracket. We wanted all this AND we wanted to be able to drive on the street with excellent road manners. Thus, the Cheat Code Chassis was born.
In our experience, we cant find a better performing suspension system than the Cheat Code Chassis that delivers rock solid offroad performance and excellent daily driver characteristics all wrapped up into one package. With a Cheat Code Chassis your Jeep will sit low, flex hard, and dominate any trail you put in front of it. Then drive home at the end of the day with cruise set at 80 with one hand on the steering wheel.
Phase 1
We start by installing a Genright roll cage before we completely disassemble your Jeep and remove the body from the frame. Then we strip the frame down, removing any unnecessary factory brackets and components. Then we weld on all of our own suspension link brackets and crossmembers, all custom fabricated here in house. After that we completely sand down the chassis, removing or fixing any imperfections that we can find that way the frame looks as though it was built this way from Jeep. And to finish it all off we send the chassis and roll cage to get sand blasted and powder coated any color of your choosing. Although we recommend going with satin black.
Phase 2
After we get the roll cage and chassis back from powder, we begin final assembly. We install the new axles, suspension components, wiring harness, fuel system, and the new full stainless braided brake lines. Then we install the engine, transmission, and transfer case. Finally we mate the body and chassis for the final time. And after the build is complete, we offer a free of charge guided trail run at Crossbar Offroad Ranch in Davis OK so you can test out your new Cheat Code Chassis with the Offroad Addiction crew!
